Rolling’

Eskil’s been on the verge of rolling for over a week.  He’s been so close to rolling for over a week – so close that it seemed like like it was more effort to not roll that last little but than to just do it.  Most bubs roll from tummy to back first, but Eskil has been on the verge of the back to tummy roll.

Then yesterday it happened.  I was making dinner and Scott had put Eskil down on his quilt for some tummy time.  Scott glanced up at the news then down at his son – who was now on his back!  So we both missed this first roll.  Then almost immediately – when his audience had looked away again – he rolled from back to front!  Mummy’s little genius.
