12 photos taken on the 12th of August. This is the 6th month I’ve remembered to participate!
A fairly normal work day, with most of the day taken up with traveling to Campbell Town for a meeting. I have a lovely map of the route at the bottom of this post.
1 of 12: Dark and Rainy
I really don’t cope well with mornings, but having to wake up a bit earlier in the winter when it’s still dark plus it’s raining makes it even worse. Especially as I was getting up early in order to travel to Campbell Town for a meeting. Ugh.
I don’t look forward to traveling to Campbell Town today!

6 of 12: Destination
Arriving at The Grange, where our meeting will be held.
7 of 12: Flooding
View of paddocks from The Grange’s car park confirms it has been raining hard in Campbell Town too!!
8 of 12: Leaving Campbell Town
This meeting is out of the way – until next month.

10 of 12: Back at the Office
11 of 12: Watching Time Team
I got home in time to watch the second half of Time Team. Lottie’s obviously exhausted after pinching recyclables and putting them onto her beanbag.
12 fo 12: Snuggle Pup
In the winter, the husband and I often go to bed quite early just because we can put our electric blanket on and get warm. We have a cold house, and we could wait forever in the evening for it to just get OK-warm downstairs.
And yes, this is Lottie – in her pyjamas – on the bed snuggled between us. One of the wonders of dogs is how they can sleep through anything! Using a flash didn’t wake her; laughing during Spicks and Specks didn’t wake her. But if I get out of bed, she’s immediately awake and ready to run downstairs if that’s where I’m going.
