Tack tack, Tante Skona

Skona baby picture
September 1991 – November 2005

Snuva is sad to say that her Tante Skona has died.

Although Skona lived on another continent, Snuva heard many of the legends about her and learned a lot of dog craft from her. Snuva often heard of Skona’s smile, knew that although she was rarely naughty she was always guilty, learned from her that it can be just as fun to run for the ball with other dogs as it is to grab it, and heard amusing tale of Skona’s prehensile neck. She will be missed by all who knew her. Clicking on the photo above will take you to a set of photos on Flickr; at the time of the post there is only one photo, however others are being added so check back

I just don’t know where to start. She was perfect! I keepp
looking for her on our walkies and in the back seat when i do dog inventories. Her sister Flaka is mourning quite a bit. She was perfect to the end…even saved us from having to make the desision. I remember when they were ‘ittlepups…in the shuket, they would both grab the handle of a milf jug 7 run together with it. Going to uvas the 1st time without her was so hard. On her last trip there, she did NOT want to tillbok. I looked at the little bit between the dam & hill that hussie-dude used to throw the fliz across so they’d get a good workout, and the wonderful picture of them. and Skona was of course queen of the pink toungue!
