Moving On

Not quite 3 weeks ago Scott and I decided to move.  Our main priority was a house with more living space; Eskil already has barely enough room to wiggle in our current house.  We also liked the idea of being located in walking distance to cafes, shops, or a school for Eskil.  Although our current house was built in 1922 and has the character that brings, we decided to compromise on character so we could get the living space we want.

However we didn’t need to.

We’ve already found a new house!  (If a house built in the 1940s can be described as ‘new’.)  Our contract has been signed, so now it’s just the waiting period for building inspections, lawyers to do lawyery things, etc.  Although not enormous, the living space is well designed.  It’s close to great parks, cafes, shops, a school, and even close enough to the city for us to cycle or walk to work.  It even already has a dog door for Lottie!

The photos below were pinched from the real estate website; there is a floorplan as well.  The photos are in muck order because my plugin is silly.  You can also see them on Flickr here.
