Welcome to Tassie, Geokashers!

The day started off like any other Friday: we went to work / we went home.  But a little after 9 pm, Geokashers was due to land at Hobart International Airport.  In order to know who I’d be looking for, I’d looked up gallery photos in his geocaching.com profile and seen this photo.  So now I knew what we were in for!  😉

We found each other easily at the airport, and then I figured we’d best find at least one cache!  So we took him to Roehm’s Circus, which I thought would be a good one to hit at that time of night as #1 there are often too many muggles during the day and #2 there are some street lights and it’s not a scary area.  Once his GPSr had caught onto the fact he was in Tasmania he was in the right area but needed a torch to make the actual find.  Picky, picky!

I thought we’d only do one cache as it was getting late and we’d want to get to Snuva HQ and plan our attack for the next day bu couldn’t resist stopping at Antartica TB Travel Bug Lounge.  I mean really, we were driving past!!

We then headed back to Snuva HQ, where Lottie greeted Geokashers by barking at him.  We chatted a little and discussed plans for the next day, then it was off to rest up for the next day’s caching!

SORRY! Below SHOULD be a map of these two caches, however my plug-in is borked; I’m just leaving it there in case it magically starts working again – but if not I’ll work it out later. . .
