Some Loonie Caches and Home

Path along the Cataract Cliff GroundsThe night before when MullinitOvr and I headed back to her place still leaving a few caches to be found around George Town, we thought we might head back up in the morning to clear the area.  Instead we decided to do a few caches around Launceston.  That way we wouldn’t spend as much time travelling and Lottie & I could head back to Hobart at a reasonable hour.

Our first hunt of the day! There was a cat sitting on the start of the track, so Lottie did her best to pull me up the hill as quickly as she could! When we summitted she seemed more interested in finding the cat than in finding the cache, so it was a good thing less cat-obsessed heads prevailed.

Thank you for the cache.

Lottie near Jump CacheMy Log
Lottie loved this cache! Although we’d done bunch of caches the day before, none of them were much of a leg stretch – and most of the day was spent in the rain. So this lovely walk in the sun was welcome. And now I know how the cache got its name!

Thank you for the cache.

My Note
Re-visited while MullinitOvr had a look. She found the cache well-hidden and in good condition. The park was so peaceful this Sunday morning – but the playground was certainly wet after yesterday’s rain. MullinitOvr had two very wet knees by the time she’d finished with the cache!

Yes, I slipped down theseMy Log
‘We’ didn’t slip back onto the track; *I* slipped back – onto my bottom. Hey, it wouldn’t have been a full weekend of caching if I hadn’t slipped in the mud at least once! How I managed not to do it in the rain on Saturday but do it in the sun on Sunday I don’t know, but I did!

Thank you for the cache.

My Log
Last cache found with MullinitOvr for the weekend. Lottie, who is prohibited in this area, stayed in the car and was VERY vocal about being annoyed she couldn’t come! As I usually have a dog with me, I’ve never been to this area before.

Thank you for the cache!
