Lottie Update #3

I’m getting lots of questions, so thought I should post another update to answer!

Lottie is a Salt and Pepper girl, so not black like Snuva.  I actually haven’t even seen photos of her myself, so have none to post.  When I speak to the breeders tonight I’ll see if they can email some – however I don’t know if they can.  They said she has a quiet and gentle temperament but likes to play around with other dogs so it’s not like she isn’t also energetic.

It’s looking like the stars might align for her arrival on Friday the 7th of December (which I should also note is the birthday of the geocacher Tim the Enchanter of Fairly Magic).

Last night, frustrated I couldn’t immediately make arrangements for her to come down and know everything about where, when, how etc instantly, I emailed some friends in Sydney to see if they would be able to pick her up from the breeder and give her a lift to the airport.  (The breeders live at Alpine near Mittagong, NSW – about an hour south of Sydney.)  I didn’t expect to hear back from them, but sort of wanted to email them rather than phone so they could think about it.  Then Scott and I went upstairs to watch a DVD and try to get my mind off all of it (good luck!).  A little while later Brian and Barb phoned, already looking through maps for Alpine, and seemed happy to help!  Aren’t they just fantastic!!

I phoned a pet transport company this morning about arrangements.  Friday was beginning to look good, however they realised they have two Great Danes, a few cats, and a couple other animals so didn’t feel they should put a Schnauzer on the flight as well.  Tomorrow looked like it could work, however the breeder wasn’t in for me to be able to confirm that would be OK with them.  So Friday the 7th is looking like the day.

So how am I supposed to sleep until then?!
