Sigh. Poor Harry. He goes home to his slaves tonight, but I haven’t been able to tutor him much on caching as there are so many basics he just doesn’t seem to know yet! For example, when it comes to sleeping, Harry seems to seek out a CAVE?!
Everyone knows that the proper way for a regal geoPup or cacheHound to sleep is in comfortable splendour on a beanbag, preferably with a blanket tucked around you and sheepskin under you in the colder months. The beanbag part is important; if you get annoyed with your slaves, you can get up in the middle of the evening and kick it around the room loudly, move it into the doorway, and in general manipulate it in any way you want.
I restrained myself from laughing at Harry when he arrived with his blue bed thing. Really, not very well padded! I loved the quilt, but the bed! At least it matches his collar. But I was truly shocked when I saw what he’d do next: sleep UNDER my slaves?! That’s right, this poor little guy for some reason decided to make my slaves’ bed his own cave?!
After almost a week of instruction, he almost has sleeping down (although he could find his own beanbag thank you!). We’ll have to send his slaves away again to handle more of the Big Issues!
