10:49 The posted coordinates would have had put me in an odd spot, but the alternate coordinates were spot on and showed the cache to be where I assumed it would be. (Yes, well, why didn’t I just look there in the first place?!) The views from here were great!
Thank you for the cache.

12:34 We were in the area with my cousin, who is a preservationist so is naturally attracted to features such as this. As she was examining the Monterey schist with adobe mortar joints, I fired up the GPSr and found there was a cache to find. The coordinates took me further from the cache than I was when I didn’t know there was a cache in the area, but my husband found it in the end.Thank you for the cache.

16:08 We were in the area while my cousin was working on documenting a few houses to the south for the state park service and came across this interesting reserve with a few caches. We had actually started the walk at a different trailhead, passed the cache we were headed for as we took the low track instead of the high – so I headed for this cache and realised it was a Marky and Joani cache! Yeah! This is a lovely little reserve with very friendly dogs.Thank you for the cache.

16:21 We really enjoyed walking through this hidden piece of nature. And I really enjoyed the friendly dogs who stopped to say hello along the way! I was a bit worried one or two might have taken a quick sprint through some poison oak in the bush (which I didn’t think of until AFTER I’d petted them), but as I am logging this the next morning and my skin hasn’t broken out I must be fine!Thank you for the cache.
