A Walk on Mt Wellington

Walk, 13 April 2009I had some maintenance to do on some mountain caches, so we extended the route a bit and took in two caches I’ve been meaning to seek for a while now.  A lovely walk; the weather was stunning, the views as magnificent as always!

Our Log
As soon as we found this one, the kookaburra started laughing like, well, mad kookaburra. Loved the walk to this. We’d originally intended to do this one yesterday, but the mediocre weather convinced us to save it for today. Really glad we did as the sun was shining and all was well.Thank you for the cache.

The GPSr was sending us all over, however the cache was found fairly quickly nonetheless. The entire time I was writing in the log book, Lottie was rolling and sniffing and rolling some more – she give the spot just above GZ a 4 paw up for great rolling spot! Cool little spot; thank you for pointing it out to us!Thank you for the cache!
