A Quick Tasman Peninsula Trip

There’s been a whole lot of silence here, first while I was planning our trip to Japan, then during the trip, and now while I’m sorting through photos and transcribing our journal entries from the trip.

So here’s a very quick post from today. I had some geocaching maintenance to do on the Tasman Peninsula. Eskil wasn’t impressed by the Pirates Bay Lookout.

The boy is not impressed by the view
Lottie was impressed by Tessellated Pavement; there were lots of fabulous smells.

So many awesome smells at Tesselated Pavement
We stopped off at the car park at the blowhole; the food truck there makes the best hot chips and ice cream. Honestly. The next geocache I needed to check on was nearby, at the Doo Town beach. Lottie was extremely enthusiastic about cooling down in the water.

Happy Lottie

Eskil thought Lottie was quite wise, so soon he and Scott had shoes and jeans off.

Shake it

Our last stop was at the Dog Line at Eaglehawk Neck for the traditional photos with the statue there.
