Euro14 Day 24: Into London

Temperature: Min 12°C; Max 21°C.
Weather: Mostly overcast.

Today we made our way into London. First up we had some errands to do in Hungerford – groceries, replacing an adaptor I’d left at the last hotel, faxing things from the post office for a new job Scott would be starting when we got back to Australia, etc. Hungerford seemed lovely though.
Canal
Then we hit the M4 into London. Lots of driving, and driving and driving! First motorway driving, then through the endless suburbs of London. We arrived early at the flat we were renting, so we headed out into our neighbourhood for some London fika at Les Douceurs De La Tentation!
Coffee and cakes
Back at the flat, we got the keys, moved our stuff in, and attempted to get the can into the parking garage. We couldn’t ge it to open. We spent a long time; this was supremely annoying! Luckily, my mum’s disabled parking blue badge let us park right in front of the flat. But still – sigh. Scott and I headed to the local grocery store for dinner stuff; we had pasta, cheesecake, and raspberries. And much wine!
